Accessibility statement for Spendwise app

This statement describes how Spenwise app complies with the requirements of the Discrimination and Accessibility Act (Diskriminerings- og tilgjengelighetsloven) in Norway. Here you can read about how our digital service works, how it is designed from an accessibility perspective, known issues, and how to contact us if you encounter any problems. We aim to make our app usable by as many people as possible, regardless of their circumstances.

Technical information about the app’s accessibility 

This app is largely compliant with the European standard for accessibility of information and communication technology, EN 301549. 
 

About Spendwise app – description of function and design 

The Spendwise app is a digital service provided by SEB Kort Bank AB, aimed at private individuals who hold credit cards or personal loans from SEB Kort. The app offers users an overview and management of their current cards and loans. Among other features, users can view balances and transactions, download invoices, block cards, adjust credit limits, make additional repayments, or repay loans early. The app supports multiple cards simultaneously and can send notifications for purchases or when preset spending limits are reached. 

The main features include: 

  • Menu-based navigation for access to card and loan information 
  • Display of balances, transactions, and invoices 
  • Ability to block cards, change credit limits, and make additional repayments or early loan settlements 
  • Ability to view card information such as card PIN or card number and expiry 
  • Push notifications for purchases or when spending thresholds are met 
  • Support for multiple cards within the same app 

 The app is available for iOS and Android, and works on both mobile phones and tablets. It has been developed with a focus on clear structure, ease of use, and support for assistive technologies in accordance with accessibility requirements. 

How Spendwise app works for different needs and know issues

For users who are blind or have visual impairments 

  • Screen readers and magnification software are compatible with the app’s content. 
  • Navigation using the keyboard is supported for iOS. 
  • There is sufficient contrast between text and background. 
  • Text can be enlarged without content disappearing or becoming difficult to interpret.  
  • The app’s structure is semantically correct, with proper use of headings, lists, 
  • Functions can be accessed and used via keyboard and screen readers. 

Known issues:
 

Keyboard navigation is currently in development for Android, with an expected deadline for December 2025. 
 
Some PDF documents in the app are not fully accessible to keyboard navigation and screen reader.  
 

For users who are deaf or hard of hearing 

  • The app does not require sound to be used. 

 

For users with reduced mobility 

  • It is possible to navigate and use the entire app using only a keyboard on iOS. 
  • Focus indicators clearly show the user’s position on the screen. 

Known issues: 

Some elements in the Android app are not fully accessible to keyboard navigation, alongside other assistive technologies. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of these elements.  

 

For users with cognitive impairments 

  • The app uses language that is as simple and clear as possible. 
  • The structure is logical and consistent. 

 

How we have tested accessibility 

The accessibility of the app has been reviewed using both automated tests and manual testing with assistive technologies. The tests were conducted by internal specialists using accessibility tools.
